Logjam at NAMM 2017

It’s been 10 years since we started making our unique brand of stompers and since then they have become popular the world over. To this day we still make them in Britain by hand. In the modern age this is unusual as you probably know that virtually everything seems to be made in China… but we like working with local people and our workshops in Herefordshire, England are happy and busy places to work.

This year we will be exhibiting once again at NAMM (Jan 19th~22nd,2017) which is probably the best music show in the world, taking place as it does in sunny California and acting as host to thousands of musical instrument companies and musicians. If you have never been you should go. The sheer range of incredible talent is visible (and audible) everywhere. Every hotel bar and live stage always have the best musicians you could ever hope to see. Whatever style of music you like, it is certain to be featured and it is mostly, absolutely free.

Logjam will be on Stand 1433 in Hall E. We will have a number of musicians working with us including the brilliant Terl Bryant, one of the most sought-after session drummer/percussionists in the UK…also, from Marseilles, France, the amazing Marko Balland & Pascal Le Blanc . Logjam endorsees “The Sheriffs of Sherringham” are threatening to make an appearance with their downhome American blues credentials on display and it’s possible that The Logfather may be tempted to play a few tunes also 🙂

If you decide to visit NAMM then check out Hall E … it’s where all the cool and interesting stuff tends to be. The big companies are upstairs and the innovators are downstairs … that’s why we like Hall E. It’s also home to a lot of the world’s ukulele makers. So many lovely and fascinating things. Hope to see you there…

Happy New Year to all those who play or have an interest in our Logjam instruments.
